(Hollywood, CA) – According to a study conducted by the PM Media Review, openly gay Arrested Development star Portia De Rossi has been voted one of the ten sexiest women on television.
The poll, which asks avid television viewers their opinions on several aspects of the medium, clocks De Rossi at number nine, a rare bright spot of news for the show given FOX’s recent announcement it was pulling Development from its line-up.
De Rossi, whose headline grabbing romance with Ellen DeGeneres peaked earlier this year with a cover story in The Advocate, made the list with a prestigious line-up of women, including Alias star Jennifer Garner and Desperate Housewives’ Eva Longoria, who topped the list.
Writer Mark Runyon further touted De Rossi’s sex appeal by saying, “Did I mention her affiliation with the lesbian party? Every guy knows that just multiplies a woman's sexiness, imagination running amok with possibilities.”
Fans of De Rossi and Development might have a reason to be thankful this season with the recent announcement that either ABC or Showtime might pick up the critically acclaimed but viewer challenged sitcom.
Producers for the show say they expect to have an update as early as January.
