Link One student fired a gum wrapper at her head and two students used anti-gay slurs in her classroom, so the teacher sent them off to detention. Apparently, the school isn't big on discipline, so Lambda Legal is now involved.

Link US President George W. Bush, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Pope Benedict are sharing space on the Human Rights Watch "Hall of Shame." According to the group, all three are actively promoting prejudice against LGBT people, stimatizing gay and lesbian families and making them more vulnerable to discrimination.
