Homosexuality's Genetic Edge

We've all heard the argument that since gayness doesn't cause reproduction, it must not be a good thing in terms of evolution. But if it's such a disadvantage in the evolutionary rat race, why was it not selected into oblivion millennia ago? Apparently, being "family" can be good for your family.

I thing the genes that make some of us gay make the opposite sex individuals more fertile. Genes that make males homosexual make their female relatives more attractive, feminine and fertile, while genes that make females homosexual makes males more masculine, dominant and fertile. So the evolution didn't eliminate gay genes be cause these genes can cause homosexuality only in one sex while the opposite sex individuals have more offspring be cause of this genes.
